PDF Meet Terms of Use

These Terms are a public offer and/or adhesion contract within the meaning of Ukrainian legislation to the extent permitted by the nature of the service. A person who accesses the website, creates an account, uploads a file, checks the agreement box, clicks buttons such as "Continue", "Register", "Pay", "Save" or actually uses the service confirms familiarization with the Terms and their full acceptance.

Electronic interaction, correspondence, confirmation of actions in the web interface, technical logs, payments, session history, system notifications, checkboxes and button clicks may be used as evidence of the user's expression of will to the extent permitted by Ukrainian legislation.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you have no right to use the service, create an account, pay for any plans or upload documents for processing.

The "PDF Meet" service is owned and administered by a business entity created and registered in accordance with Ukrainian legislation. The full name, identifying and contact details of the service owner may be indicated on the website, in requisites, invoices, payment documents, public offer, policies or other service communications.

These Terms apply to all website visitors, unregistered users, account holders, paid clients, persons who upload or process documents, as well as representatives of legal entities using the service for corporate purposes.

If you use the service on behalf of a legal entity, you confirm that you have sufficient authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of such entity and to bind it to the corresponding obligations.

The service provides browser-based access to tools for creating, uploading, viewing, editing, signing, converting, merging, splitting, rotating, extracting, importing, exporting, commenting and other technical processing of documents, including PDF files.

Certain features may include OCR, AI summarization, text recognition, link insertion, signatures, images, as well as export to other formats. The list of features may change, be limited by plan, region, interface language, device type, browser or technical state of the service.

The service is exclusively a technical platform. It does not verify the legal suitability of your document, does not guarantee its acceptance by any court, government authority, counterparty, bank, tax authority, notary, employer or other third party.

The service owner has the right to change, supplement, update or publish these Terms in a new version at any time, unless this contradicts mandatory legal provisions. The current version takes effect from the moment of its publication on the website, unless a different effective date is explicitly specified in the version itself.

The service may also change functionality, interface, pricing, modules, algorithms, API, integrations, file storage or processing approaches at any time, as well as temporarily suspend or permanently discontinue certain features.

If the law requires notifying the user of material changes separately, such notification may be sent by email, in the user dashboard, through a website banner or by other appropriate means.

Access to some features may require creating an account. You agree to provide truthful, current and sufficient data, and to keep them up to date. The service has the right to refuse registration or block an account in case of inaccurate data, suspicion of fraud, abuse, violation of Terms or legal requirements.

By default, the service is oriented toward adult users. If in your jurisdiction full legal capacity or consent of a legal representative is required to enter into such a contract or use payment instruments, the user is responsible for compliance with this requirement.

You are independently responsible for safeguarding your login, password, tokens, recovery codes and all other means of account access. All actions performed using your account, until the service is properly notified of access compromise, are considered performed by you or with your consent, unless otherwise proven by mandatory legal provisions.

Any templates, forms, text examples, fill-in hints, OCR results, AI-generated conclusions, translations, summaries, automatic correction suggestions or other service materials are merely a technical or informational tool. They do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, HR, financial or other professional advice.

You are obligated to independently verify the correctness, completeness, relevance, suitability and legal consequences of any document generated or edited through the service. The service does not guarantee that the document will be valid, sufficient, acceptable or safe for a specific legal situation, jurisdiction or business process.

• Signature images, handwritten signatures or graphic marks inserted through the service are not automatically a qualified electronic signature or seal unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• OCR, AI and automatic tools may make mistakes, lose context, distort numbers, names, dates, requisites, page numbering, table structure and other data.
• Functions for removing restrictions, editing, unlocking or modifying PDF may only be used for files to which you have proper rights.
• The service is not liable for the refusal of a government authority, bank, court or counterparty to accept a document created or modified in the service.

All files, images, texts, tables, forms, signatures, links, comments and other materials that you upload, create or modify through the service belong to you or your rights holders. You guarantee that you have the legal right to upload, copy, modify, convert, sign and otherwise process such content.

You grant the service a non-exclusive, free-of-charge, purpose-limited license for technical reproduction, storage, processing, conversion, caching, backup, transmission and display of your content to the extent necessary for service operation. Such license is effective only during the period of actual processing and storage of content on the service, unless otherwise separately agreed.

You must not upload content that violates third-party rights, contains malicious code, state secrets, confidential information without proper grounds, or sensitive personal data if you lack a legal basis for processing them and sufficient security measures. If such content is nevertheless uploaded, the responsibility lies solely with the user.

The procedure for personal data processing is additionally defined by the service Privacy Policy, if such policy is published on the website.

Some service features may be provided for payment: in the form of a one-time payment, package, credits, subscription, additional module or combined plan. The current price, currency, terms, feature scope, taxes, payment period, trial period availability and other material conditions must be displayed before order confirmation.

If the order page explicitly states that the subscription is automatically renewable, the user agrees to its auto-renewal for the next equivalent or other clearly specified billing period until they cancel such subscription in the established manner. Unless otherwise stated on the payment page, to avoid charges the user must cancel the subscription no later than 24 hours before the start of the next period.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. The service does not control bank fees, conversion rates, additional issuer charges or other costs depending on the user's payment instrument.

In case of billing errors, transaction rejection, chargeback, signs of fraud or payment discipline violation, the service has the right to suspend access to paid features, restrict the account or refuse further service provision.

Unless otherwise explicitly provided on the payment page or by a separate policy, payment for access to a digital service, after actual provision of such access or commencement of the digital service, is considered final. However, the service processes refunds in cases and to the extent directly provided by mandatory Ukrainian legislation.

If the user is a consumer within the meaning of the law, their rights regarding digital content quality, digital service quality, price reduction, defect remediation, contract termination or refund are determined by law and are not limited by these Terms to the extent such limitation is explicitly prohibited.

Before filing a payment dispute with a bank or payment system, the user is recommended to first contact the service through the support contact listed on the website. This is not a waiver of user rights but allows faster verification of payment circumstances.

The user is prohibited from:

• using the service to violate the law, intellectual property rights, privacy or confidentiality rights of third parties;
• uploading malicious files, viruses, scripts, exploits, bots, protection bypass tools or other malicious software;
• performing mass automated access, scraping, reverse engineering, decompilation or other attempts to obtain source code or internal logic of the service;
• using the service for illegal editing, unlocking or modification of others' documents without proper authority;
• presenting the service, its design, code, features or materials as one's own or creating a competitive product based on them without written permission;
• overloading service infrastructure, interfering with API operation, networks, accounts or security mechanisms.

Any violation of this section is considered a material breach of the Terms and gives the service the right to immediately restrict access without prior notice, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Continuous, error-free and 24/7 service operation is not guaranteed. Technical interruptions, maintenance, provider failures, browser limitations, session loss, cache desynchronization, temporary export, import, rendering or storage failures are possible.

The user is obligated to independently download and save their final documents, backups and intermediate versions. Unless otherwise explicitly promised by the service, the service does not act as an archival storage and does not guarantee file retention for any specific period.

The service has the right to delete temporary files, cache, processing results, inactive accounts or other data in accordance with the service's technical policy, without obligation to restore them in the future.

The service may use or display third-party services, libraries, payment solutions, cloud infrastructure, analytics tools, OCR or AI providers, links to third-party resources and other external elements.

Unless otherwise explicitly stated, the service does not control the content, continuity, security, legality, privacy policies and commercial terms of such third parties and is not responsible for actions, inaction, errors, losses or claims related to the use of a third-party service.

All user relationships with a third-party service, including payment, refunds, transaction disputes, personal data storage procedures or additional access terms, may be governed by the separate rules of such third-party provider.

The design, source code, editor, logos, graphics, interface texts, website structure, feature selection, databases, software modules, styles, trademarks and other service elements belong to the service owner or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.

The user receives only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the service for personal or internal business use as intended. No provision implies transfer of any property rights to the service to the user.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service, all its materials, features, templates, AI and OCR results, integrations, hints, examples, instructions and content are provided "as is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranties.

The service expressly does not guarantee: uninterrupted operation; absence of errors; suitability for a specific purpose; full compatibility with all files, browsers or devices; accuracy of OCR or AI; correctness of conversion; legal validity of a template; acceptance of a document by third parties; absence of loss, damage or distortion of content.

The user uses the service at their own risk and independently assesses whether the service is suitable for a specific case, including HR, accounting, tax, contractual, medical, banking, registration, tender or court documents.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service owner, its affiliated persons, employees, contractors, representatives, hosting providers and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including loss of profit, clients, business reputation, data, deadlines, expected results, commercial opportunities, as well as fines or other third-party sanctions.

The service is not liable, in particular, for: rejection of documents by institutions or counterparties; user errors; illegal use of templates; incorrect OCR or AI conclusions; browser failures; cache loss; import/export errors; incorrectly chosen format; untimely auto-subscription cancellation; payment provider refusal; account blocking due to Terms violation; damage caused by third-party actions or unauthorized access resulting from improper credential protection by the user.

If despite these Terms the service's liability nevertheless arises, its aggregate amount to the maximum extent permitted by law is limited to the amount actually paid by the user for the relevant paid service or for the last three calendar months of service use, whichever is less. This limitation does not apply only to the extent the law explicitly prohibits such limitation.

The user agrees to indemnify the service owner, its employees, contractors and partners for documented damages, costs, fines, payments, claims and reasonable legal fees arising from:

• the user's violation of these Terms or legal requirements;
• violation of intellectual property, confidentiality or personal data rights of third parties;
• uploading, using, editing or unlocking files without proper rights;
• providing government authorities, counterparties or other persons with documents containing illegal, inaccurate or harmful content;
• fraudulent payments, unjustified chargebacks or other abuses of payment infrastructure.

The service has the right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate user access to all or part of the service if there is a reasonable suspicion of violation of Terms, legal requirements, third-party rights, infrastructure security, payment rules, as well as in case of technical necessity, competent authority request or discontinuation of the relevant functional module.

Blocking or termination of access may be accompanied by deletion of temporary files, processing results and other related data, unless otherwise required by law or internal data retention policies.

Ukrainian law applies to these Terms, service use, all rights and obligations of the parties without regard to conflict of law rules, unless otherwise required by mandatory rules of private international law or mandatory consumer protection provisions.

The parties will attempt to resolve disputes through negotiations and correspondence. If agreement is not reached, the dispute is subject to consideration by a competent court of Ukraine in accordance with jurisdiction and venue rules established by Ukrainian procedural legislation. No provision of these Terms deprives the consumer of the right to the method of judicial protection directly guaranteed by law.

For inquiries, complaints, rights violation notifications or payment-related appeals, the user may use the support contact details published on the website, in payment documents, invoices or other official service communications.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of other provisions. Such provision shall be interpreted or replaced in a manner that maximally preserves the original economic and legal purpose of the document to the extent permitted by law.

The service's inaction regarding a particular violation does not constitute a waiver of the right to respond to a similar or different violation in the future. The rights and remedies of the service under these Terms are cumulative, unless otherwise explicitly required by law or the content of the specific right.

The Ukrainian version of these Terms is the primary version. In case of discrepancy between the Ukrainian and translated versions, the Ukrainian text shall prevail, unless otherwise explicitly provided by a mandatory provision of applicable law.
